Ecovacs Evolution Night
In response to market demand, the Shanghai Media Tech (SMT) Studio Department undertook the internet-based live broadcast project—“Ecovacs Evolution Night.” Based on our own technical capabilities, SMT integrated all necessary resources to complete this seamless live broadcast.
The mobile phone based netcasting can neither achieve a fluent site switch nor a unification of video and audio feeds. The SMT studio department has solved this problem based on its powerful processing ability in audio and video center.
The G10 Multimedia studio was divided into 5 live broadcast areas, including one main venue and four live-broadcasting studios. The G10 pilot control can provide dual-link (active/standby) schedulable management for video and audio, ensured the success completion of this event through multi-link and multi-channel live streaming at the final stage
The ten-years battle of Cross Fire
Shanghai Media Tech (SMT) Virtual AR Studio was invited by VSPN to participate in the CFML & CFPL 2019 Fall Double-end Professional League Finals, which staged at the VSPN Studio in Jiangsu China on March 28, 2020.
SMT Virtual AR studio is fully responsible for technology and visual design of virtual studio for this time, the match is produced in a “pure” virtual studio. Although this method is common in the traditional broadcast field, it is still a challenge in the field of e-sport.
Unlike other online tournaments that currently use real-scenes to build a commentary stage, the main city of e-sports this time was built in the venue by a 200 square meters virtual image throughout the entire game. Based on this method, a reduction of personnel contact and transmission has been successfully achieved during the epidemic situation. The newly added special virtual camera technology can realize the interaction among the live host, commentary, outfield players, and cloud guest in the live broadcast screen.
The special presentation of AR made the interactive experience data and bullet screen virtual presentation more vivid and appropriate. Besides, the ZeroDensity virtual engine and RayTracing technology were used to perform 1: 1 restoration, which presented a real-light sense.
