On March 1, 2019, the CSL (Chinese Football Association Super League) new season kicked off.

       In the first game Broadcast, Shanghai Media Tech (SMT) used the 4K HDR production broadcast system and 5G live broadcast technology to bring the event to the audience. 

SMT took the lead in the production of the 4K HDR version of the 2019 CSL, and the 4K live signal was perfectly presented in the Migu video. It is equipped with three versions of output: 4K international signal 2160 50p 2SI, HD Chinese signal 1080 50i and HD international signal 1080 50i. 

During this time broadcast, Great Sports of SMG and SMT jointly used 5G technology to do live news interviews, which was the first official use of 5G technology in the CSL, and also marks that 5G technology will soon be applied to modern broadcast technology.
